hubby's all time fav cake

Hi...

Lets start cooking with my 1st recipe that I hold close to my heart and almost everyone who tried it enjoyed it so much....This cake has made many people happy during their birthdays and celebrations...and its my family all time favourite. My moist chocolate cake!this recipe is very versatile as you can make it even in your pyjamas I'm telling u! even a 8 years old can make this cake to show you how easy it is.

Moist Chocolate Cake

Ingredients A (dry):

1 Cup Plain Flour a.k.a tepung gandum
3/4 Cup Coco Powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda bicarbonat
(combine and shifted)-ayak bersama.

Ingredients B :
1 Cup sugar-can used brown sugar
150 gram butter
2 eggs (+-60gram each egg)
1 tsp vanilla essence
(Combine and beat until smooth so it become batter@adunan)-putar sampai sebati je.tak semestinye kena kembang.

1 cup milk (full cream taste better but you can also used any type of milk)
tips: measurement in baking.
1 Tsp- teaspoon =5ml (jgn guna sudu makanan kerana lain sukatannya)
1 Tbsp- tablespoon=20ml
1 cup - 1 cawan=250ml

steps:

1. Beat ingredients B until smooth.
2. Add a spoonful at a time of ingredients A into batter (beat again with low speed),put milk and ingredients A alternately ( selang seli) until all mix togather.
3. Pre heat oven at 170 degree for 10 min. ( if using fan oven used 160 degree)
4. Choose your baking tin.... You can used small round cake tin (7 inch) or muffin pan to bake.bake for 30-35 min and try test it with cake tester pin. For cuppies it will take around 15 min to cook and mini cuppies will take around 12 min to cook.

Tips for invention:
1. This batter can make 1 small cake (7 inch round tin) or 12-15 cupcakes and 25-30 mini cuppies.
2. you can also alter the ingredients such as subtitutes butter with 3/4 cup vege oil (but it wont taste the same!)
3. You can use 1 cup self rising flour instead of plain flour but you dont have to add soda bicarbonate and baking powder to it. easy right. but the cake will be fluffy and not like mud cake (moist cake yang padat)
4. Can add any nuts or dried fruits or chocolate chip (1/2 cup only) in the batter or on top of cake before baking if you want for varieties.
5 . keep it overnight then it will taste better and you can see the top will be very moist as if you put topping on top!!

enjoy!

Make this for my hubby besday! look yummy right...as for the frosting (topping) will posted it later...tunggguuuu....

Me and my 3 F's....

Assalammualaikum and Hi to all...this is the story of me and my 3 F's...

My beloved families...
My ultimate inspirations comes from dedicated and strong woman whom I called 'mak'. A lady who taught me so many things includes passions in cooking. Home cooks meal 3 times a day my whole life (plus 6 others siblings) is a luxury we enjoyed when living with my mum...

My 'hunky' hubby a.k.a my personal food critic and my two little munchkins whom I adore with all my heart...p/s: I love you...hehehe

My beloved friends...
Who encourage to start my food blog..thanks to Amirah, Fatin , Aimy and My dear2 friend Amy, who is my partner in crimes when it comes to looking and cooking new recipes...p/s: I miss you soooo much...

and..Foodies....

My food philosophy is "ANYONE CAN COOK". It may sound cocky but that's the truth....I believe that we can do whatever we want if we put heart and soul into it. It might not be perfect but at least its a start...(lesson for my self as well ;-) should be writing my thesis instead of this blog..hehehe). My passion for food start from the early age...as young as 8 years old I start cook rice using firewood..bukan rice cooker ek..old school style where you have to boil rice with plenty of water and when its 90% cooks we drain the water and continue cooking with very slow fire until it cooked. Don't remember how many time I burned the rice! 1 memory stick into my mind until now is my first cooking invention..As I am a 'kampung' girl..we did'nt have pizza hut or domino at that time...I saw pizza in Tele (TV)  when I was 10 years old and I told my sister I wanna try making that pizza...so I start making my so called dough using tepung gandum or plain flour, I put 'cili boh' for the sauce..as i don't know what they put but i notice its red! and i put everything i can find in my mum fridge for the topping and i pan fry them! I ask my sister to try it and the moment she put it in her mouth she scream" tooo spicy and yucky!!!!"  the cili boh is very spicy indeed because it made from dried red chili paste. Well that went well...hahahah..but now I can ensure you I do know how to make a proper pizza ;-)

So come on..Lets get cooking...I will share with you all my tips and recipes and I don't mind you sharing it with others as well.bak kata org tua2 ilmu elok kita share..berkattt...
